Sasha was two in August and is such a delight! She is sweet, loving and a wonderful companion--basically the definition of a Havanese. They are often called Velcro Dogs--and she embodies that.

Note: all potential puppy parents will be vetted to insure babies are going to loving furever homes. I do not ship these precious family members, and they need to be at least eight weeks old before they leave their mother.

About this awesome breed from the AKC website: Havanese, the only dog breed native to Cuba, are cheerful little dogs with a spring in their step and a gleam in their big, brown eyes. These vivacious and sociable companions are becoming especially popular with American city dwellers. Distinctive features of the Havanese include a curled-over tail and a gorgeous silky coat, which comes in a variety of colors. Some owners enjoy cording the coat, in the manner of a Puli, and others clip it short to reduce grooming time. Happily, Havenese are just as cute no matter what hairdo you give them. Their small but sturdy bodies, adaptable nature, and social skills make Havanese an ideal city dog, but they are content to be anywhere that they can command the attention of admirers young and old alike. Havanese, smart and trainable extroverts with the comic instincts of a born clown, are natural trick dogs. Havanese are also excellent watchdogs and take the job seriously, but will usually keep the barking to a minimum.

My affection for the Havanese breed is unbounded--especially since falling in love with my beloved Sasha! I grew up with different small breeds, but wanted a hypoallergenic dog that doesn't shed. Sasha has filled my life with love, laughter and amazement--this breed is SMART and incredibly amusing! 🙂

An interesting fact is that Havanese can and often do change color. Sasha has changed from chocolate brown to a beautiful light sable color. She still has her pretty green eyes and adorable brown nose (which are indicative of the chocolate variation)! These photos show some of the changes in size and color from her birth on 8/11/21. She weighs just under 10 pounds.

Bogey is a three year old Chocolate Havanese with champion bloodlines. He and Sasha hit it off and IT'S OFFICIAL they have beautiful babies as of 12/30/23! They will be available end of February/early March. Photos and videos will be posted on this website regularly!
